Halloween 2000
Every year I make a few new costumes for Halloween and reuse old costumes made in previous years. Chloë wanted to try being a mummy. Reg sawed a few rolls of paper towel up and I wrapped her. Its not a costume that we will keep LOL. It took longer than I thought but it worked out ok. The picture was taken after we got back and she was unravelling. At first she looked more like an accident victim than a mummy. Margo's costume, baby on old lady's back is new too. I saw it in a magazine and thought it would be fun to do. Sometimes when I looked at her I got the willies because she really looked like 2 people. Someone on one of my mailing lists said she dressed up because having fun wasn't just for kids. Reg and I felt like having fun so we dressed up too. I got lots of nice comments about Colin sitting in the sling. I have only seen a couple people using slings but never seen anyone around here use a front carry. I get lots of comments normally but 2 people even asked to take his picture. He was a very cute devil. I made that costume for Kristy when she was a baby and all my babies have worn it and chewed on the tail!.
