New Years Eve Party
Usually we just stay up with the kids till midnight say, "Happy New Year" and go to bed. This year after reading some ideas, (Thank you, Kelly) I decided to try something different. One of the ideas was to redecorate the tree in party decorations. No Christmas stuff/colors allowed. We had fun and the tree turned out nice. Making the party hats help past the time till midnight. The other idea we tried was hanging up 2 paper table clothes stapled together up on the ceiling. We then filled it up with balloons, sparkles and streamers. At midnight we ripped it down and stomped the balloons. We had a lot of fun.

Ginger Bread House 1999
Better late than never. I finished the house 2 days after Christmas. Kids didn't mind since that meant they got to eat it sooner. Usually I try to finish it by Christmas then let the kids eat it New Years Day.
