For arts and crafts Reg decided to make a pinata with the kids. Colin's birthday was in a couple days. He used a beach ball. It had a few holes so he taped them up. The kids helped cover the ball with papier mache then Reg put the thing near a heater to dry. We went to the store to buy some filler and presents. When we got back the pinata had mostly dried and burst through the side with the snout. Reg took the kids to the library and I repaired the snout. It ended up looking better so it was a good mistake. The next day I covered the pinata in copy paper and then the tissue paper. This is our first pinata and it turned out really well except the string wasn't strong enough. I don't know if Colin likes pigs but I made him a pig cake to match the pinata.
