Rachel's 5th Birthday
Rachel turned 5 on February 13th. We asked her what she wanted to eat on her birthday. That was pretty easy, sticky buns, poutine and pizza. We asked her what kind of a cake she wanted. She had no trouble figuring out what kind. She wanted the same as daddy had. I was pg so the girls made him a cake from a mix and she wanted to help make it. They couldn't find the same dino sprinkles so Margo used gummy bears. But when we asked what she wanted for a present she had no idea. She said Santa could bring her something. After we convinced her Santa didn't do birthdays she said she wanted a Laa Laa. We then found out Laa Laas are out. We found one, finally, in a discounted items bin. Phew. Her favourite colour is yellow and she always asks for the yellow cup so I thought some yellow stuff would be nice. I had fun sewing her yellow pj's, pants, and 2 sweaters. She likes puppies and just grew out of her favourite doggie outfit so I decorated her sweaters with a doggie theme. We also bought her a yellow towel and sheet. She had fun and likes her yellow stuff.
