French Toast
Need about 2 loaves of homemade basic bread to make 32/34 slices
Mix in gallon juice jug using stick blender:
16 eggs
4 1/3 cups milk
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
Divide mix in four 500gr cottage cheese tubs. Turn one griddle on. (425 on Rival or 350 on a normal griddle). Using a large baking sheet with a rim soak 8 slices of bread in one tub of mix. Flip first slice as soon as last one is placed. Let soak until most of liquid is soaked up. Place on hot griddle and turn on second griddle. Continue with rest of slices. Cook the toasts till nicely browned on both sides. The time it takes to cook seems to match the amount of time it takes to soak.
The extra 2 slices are for any liquid left over. I always use homemade bread and have no idea how well this would work for store bought.
